sweet, thanks for pics! I've been thinking of doing this... annoying how there's only the one power outlet in the centre console. definitely miss the one in the centre dash pocket.

was actually thinking about getting an outlet from jaycar and popping into the side of the pocket, without actually having to replace it entirely with the smokers kit.

whats the pricing for the smokers kit, and I assume it comes with front and rear together (cant seperate) ?

yeah, you can get front or rear seperate, and you can also buy the boot socket kit..

front and rear smokers packs i've heard going for $60 (?!!?), but I paid $100 for BOTH fron & rear through my mate at Holden...

Rear boot aux socket is $20 from Holden...

Will post part numbers and stuff as soon as I get them in hand, and pics of install when complete...

btw, those pics scanned, are the instructions Holden will supply you with the part anyways... And no warranty issues if you DIY

    Default Boot Outlet?

I did the front and rear smokers pack in an MY09 SV6 manual so that we would have sufficient power sources. Cost me $104 from a Holden Dealer for both. Installed them myself without much hassle.

I'm also interested in the boot socket. Wouls like to hear and see your outcome with this.

No worries mate, will post up pics and details of boot socket when complete. (instructions, part number and pics)

It's $20 bucks from Holden, but only drama is there is no pre-cut hole for the fitting that I can find... will await instructions before i make my own though incase there's one i can't find!

    Ask and ye shall receive....

Also, FYI, the instructions are clear, and very easy to follow, install takes about 20 mins for both front and rear. Pack cost $100 inc GST for both front and rear..
I won't repost instructions (scroll up!)
Both sockets are lit (red ring) and ashtrays also lit (same light)
