Default VE SS-V tail lights for SV6

I am loking at fitting some tail lights from a VE SS-V sedan to my SV6. Does anyone know if they will bolt straight on using the same wiring harness, bulb holders etc.?

Not 100% sure on wiring or bulbs but they do just swap straight over. I'd get a new set of bulbs anyway and if the SV6 ones do fit, keep them as spares. Pretty sure though that it can be done as a straight swap. Plenty of people have done it on the SV6 and the SS.

You can get them for a decent price ($310.00 for the set) here...

I wonder, if, with a bit of fiddling, could you put HSV VE rear lights on a non HSV?

I priced the HSV option when I had the Calais.

Total cost for everything all up was pushing $3,000.

Just one of the light assemblies without the realy was $900 and the plastic panel above it, $400!!!

I bought a HSV instead lol
