Power steering fluid reservoir in SV6
Hi
Just bought a 60th aniv ute automatic and I was looking at the owners handbook (silly thing to do) and it has the power steering reservoir cap poking through the plastic engine cover. On mine there is no power steering cap but if you look under the plastic engine cover you can see the bottom of the reservoir.
Do you have to check the levels or is it like the 5 speed auto and only checked at service.
Thanks any help

ah but no,
holden have changed the engine cover on the v6's to a dirty disgusting ugly piece of plastic which covers the entire inlet manifold (think ford boss v8 in the ba/bf's),
to check the level you will need to remove the cover, to do this just pull the cover up to disengage the clips

Here is the engine cover. Also how do you insert an image into a post and not as an attachment.
Thanks

Wow I haven't seen the new engine covers, they look terrible!
The other SV6 covers on either side with the top of the engine exposed looks so much better. Why the change Holden??
