Good price for a SS-V?
So Im buying a SS-V M6 in black with sunroof. Cheapest price I have been able to get is $52,500 on road. Is this good, or should I be going for better? Ideally I'd like to purchase it for $50k neat

i suppose thats not too bad, i just checked holden and rrp for a black ssv with sunroof and manual is $55,180.00 RRP* before on roads. just depends, you may be able to get a few more options for nothing and pay the $52500. Its easier for a dealer to throw in options than what it is for them to mark the car down

Just tell the dealer 'this is what I want, this is the price I want it at and if you don't do it i will take my money elsewhere'. Simple. They are not doing you a favour by selling you a car, you are doing them a favour by buying it off them. I am sure there is several other delaers in the Brisbane area you can visit and I am sure there is someone willing to take up the offer.

Not sure if it helps but my dad got his standard SSV manual in red with SS floor matts for $50,000 even. Got it from the holden dealer at Capalaba. It doesn't have a sunroof though.
Cheers

Yeah - I'd be saying "this is what I'm willing to pay" and leaving it at that.
You can get a very low km VE Clubsport for $50,000 these days...

Yeah... I got a brand new VE Calais in November 2006 for $32,334 + stamp duty ($970.02) when I was an employee of a Federal Agency. Love the public service lease discounts!!!
Traded it in for $32,000 in January when I bought the Clubby...
