Hey mate, yeah factory hardtop. You can see out them fine, just takes abit of getting used to. best thing about the factory hardlids is they come with a built in HID globe in the back that automatically switches on when you lift it up. Pretty handy. They lock heaps better than the slim looking type. just depends on what you prefer.

How often did you use your globe? My cars 3.5 years old now and only thing that's been replaced was when I ripped off the wiring that goes from the car to the lid when I was loading my dirtbike lol. Haha true!! Happened a few times.

haha, started the install today!! Few things I need to relocate like the power steering fluid. If anyone around the SE burbs wants to give me a hand let me know most of the work will probs be done in drouin. And can a mod change the name of this thread to "Kuzman's supercharged SV6" by any chance??

Thats normal, same on VZ, you must relocate the Power Steering Reserviour, it can mean you need some hose (VZ is 19mm and 10mm hose), hose clamps, some PS fluid and something to make up a mounting for the reservior.

Messy job and you need to drain the fluid out once you unbolt the reservior.

I can only speak from Raptor knowledge on the VZ, I will assist where I can but essentially your charger mounting etc is very different, some of my info may be not what you need

Go twin 32mm BOV, one either side of cooler is good advice. That BOSCH is not for a dude like you, you want to run 250 - 300rwkw if I recall correctly, you need good parts to handle the airflow of a blower running that fast. Have you ordered your high boost pulleys from CAPA yet?

    Ask away tho......

Do you need to connect your charger to oil supply or is it self contained? Is it V2SQ RR?

It's the self contained charger, so no oil lines which makes it easy. But I assume it will still need to be serviced and yeah its the V2SQ. I have a 10psi pulley that fits the kit, but I have an underdrive pulley on it atm so may need to go bigger. I will take some bigger pics to let you know exactly what's involved with the kit. The BOV I believe is a single and its meant to sit right down behind the LHS headlight. I'd be happy with 250rwkw, just thinking about the drivetrain atm till I get everything else sorted.

haha cheers tommo, welcome to come for a ride or whatevers too!! In the short term figured I'd rather S/C this then sell it and get a V8. Cheaper, unique and a whole lot of fun. Can just unbolt it if I want to sell the car as well.

Another little tip for you -

You have a 20% under drive kit, this means you wont make enough boost to even blow your hat off

2 options to fix this issue

    1. Install the original crank pulley (cheapest and offering best flexibility in long run)

    2. Ring MR CAPA, tell him the size of your crank pulley, the max rpm, boost pressure desired and buy his recommended pulley (which will be a LOT smaller than what you currently have)

That will save you some wondering why the charger wont boost.

Did you get some injectors? What size are they

Do you have progress pictures for the thread??

As for the crank pulley, I was going to leave it in, not for power gains, but more so longevity of car components and better fuel eco around town? Might be easier to just sell it though. Thoughts?
I half-ass started on the weekend before realising I was getting ahead of myself, install will start fully on sunday. Chasing some items you've listed above as well as a flash tune from Mace to get me going by before I get it dyno tuned. Haven't bought injectors yet, money issue at the moment.

I will take plenty of pics when I can! Thanks for all the help mate!!

    A few pictures coming soon!!

Bit of an update, the supercharger bracket + supercharger is fitted. The intercooler is fitted also!! Power steering has been moved. Injectors are in, 440cc which should be good for 320rwkw by my calculations.

Just need to get the plumbing all sorted, having problems with a few bends. Dynomotive in bayswater did a pretty horrific job on some of the welds the previous owner got them to do on some of the pipes. Needs a good di-grinding job!

Also having problems with the underdrive pulley, CAPA weren't interested in getting me a new pulley (2981mm) so figured I'd either take it off or source another one, any tips?

    With your pulley situation

You are 100% going to have to run the stock crank pulley it would seem, best plan anyway otherwise your supercharger drive ratio is just too far out of range. Belt length becomes tricky around the 3.0m mark as well, not many lengths in that range.

Will make more comment when I see your progress pics

I could be wrong, the size mightnt be so different but the pulley's themselves are vastly different

The cooler units are for blowing cool air through the charger trans of Raptor V - yours has sealed in oil that gets hot and is meant to operate that way

Belts, well, you have 6PK3032 and nothing much shorter till you get back to about 2945 if I vaguely recall
