We know exactly what marks are on the car, where and how. As soon as anything happens its either polished or booked into a panel shop pretty much lol. We have a POS Excel that we use when I go to the shopping center mostly. Don't get me wrong we have a big nasty scratch and a couple of door knocks on the drivers side, but yeah we normally park MILES away, take up 2 bays or park in parent with prams parking (lucky for me i know the security guards at our local shops lol) other than that, it's excel all the way! The kids aren't fans, child lock is still on at the ages of 7 & 8, not just to protect my car, but also everyone elses.

    Thanks heaps

Hey nice ride, just new here but keen as to go on a cruise so I can check out what people have done and what gains have been achieved, got a 07 SSV bout 5 weeks ago, have had a Stage 1 done by Active Automotive, Pacemakers and Twin 3" Manta, OTR and mafless tune pretty happy so far, really want to check out different ride height and suspension to get more of an idea for myself.

Hey kikki I have just read this whole thread the car has come a long way and is looks great. Nice ponies on the dyno to.
Got a Q for U about your rims?
Did you get buy and get them fitted from the dealer u brought the car from? As when I order my 2011 SSV wagon they told me I couldn't have 20" rims on it.
I said your joking right they said No not joking.
the 20" were only available on the sad-dan.
Then I said so why does the R8 have 20"s standard? They told me it's a HSV anything could have been changed on the car to allow the 20"s to be fitted.
The only reason why I got out of them was something about the load rating of the 20" rim not shore if that has to do with just the super sport I was after or all 20" rims.
Sorry to go on but just wondering if they said anything to you about it?

Meh the SSV has 20's, run fine, no dramas at all.

Updated pic from recent times! I have moved down south and the BF is still working up in Perth so I dont get to drive her anymore (odd weekends) soo miss it! But I have a VT wagon haha thread coming!

Nothing to add, had a new OTR added thanks to VCM (previous fault and for some reason the bonnet was putting pressure on it).

Not long to go and she'll have her new clutch and brakes!

Beautiful car. I hope my wife learns to love the V8 like you do.
Maybe we'll have two Holdens in the family one day, a his and hers. That'd be awesome.

You need to get someone to take some decent pics of this car... It looks so nice but is undersold by the mediocre photography.

New clutch tomorrow! Should be interesting, hopefully getting the issues sorted, to me sounds like a knock from the extractors.... Perhaps a tad loose thanks to the cam no doubt?

Yeah it's been lowered, not a fan of having a car dragging on its hole.

Nothing new to add lol, she's been resting as I have a VR SS and have been driving that a little more! Just a pic or two...The Dirty Slapper SSV Sportswagon now @428.2hp-imageuploadedbytapatalk1333673390.191942.jpg
