Nice.
306 rwkw is good going.
What have you done about the holes for the original rear wing? I do like the look without a wing...
hey man sweet ride
just wondering how loud is your 2.5" exhuast is, does it droan much? also does she have the good v8 rumble?
thanks mate
Hi Guys, thanks for the nice comments.
The rear spoiler has only been off for about 2 months and the holes are just tacked up with hole fillers. That cars black and so are the fillers so no one can see them. My mates a panel beater and spray painter when he has a spare mintue he is going to weld the holes and re-spray, which will hopefully be my new colour for the whole car! ;-)
The 2.5" exhuast isn't too bad, loud enough when im crusing but when I open her up either on the highway or 1/4mile she is awesome! (but im Bias! ;-)) it can be a tiny bit droany around town but it has improved with the cam would you beleive. On the highway its fine tho.
I'm not sure what its going to be like with the 3" plus the 4in1's and hiflo cats I might get the boys to keep my 2.5" just incase I want to swap it back hehe???
Cheers, Bronnie.
Yup It's a chick alright! LOL Nice to meet you Kikki. Love your ride, I couldn't decide between the SSV Wagon or the Sedan... Obviously I ended up wit the sedan but man it was a hard choice... I love my V8, thus the number plates HER-LUV will never ever go back... so much fun down the 1/4 mile... Thanks for the comment...![]()
Wow.. Totally sleeper
Looks pimp

When I removed the spoiler I also removed all badges from the car. Including the SSV & SS from the side, AFM (No longer applies because of the tune!) Commodore, and big dinner plate Lion from the front and rear. Hope you like the new pictures. Comments would be much apprciated.

I've now got to sell my SSV Rims on my car to pay for my new rims...
$2,000 for the set complete with next to new tyres. - ONO
Unfortunately the rear drivers side has a gutter dash thanks to the sorrento ferry.. grrr and the front passenger rim as a tiny scratch thanks to a mate dropping the rim at Heathcote while change from my street slicks.
Please ask around because I really want to get my new set ASAP!
Cheers Guys and Girlies
Bronnie.
I'll keep an ear out for you.
Can you trade your factory rims at the place you're buying the new ones? What wheels are you getting?
Welcome Bronnie, very nice machine you have there. Well done. In regards to the rims/tyres, be careful not to ask too much for them, especially when they're marked and you want them gone ASAP. I recently picked up a spare set of SSV rims/tyres with dealer delivery kms for $1100 (unmarked). There's heaps of sets around on the market asking for around $1200-$1500. Just a heads up.
Thank you so much wikky for the heads up it is very much apprciated. I didn't have a value in my head so I thought if I start with one figure I'm sure someone will let me know if it was too high :-)
Davey G-force I'm getting the Advanti Tourer - 20" x 8.5 I was thinking 22" but man if I hit a pot hole I'm screwed plus I still want to keep her looking kind of a sleeper... LOL
Thanks for the lovely comments guys. Cheers
I wouldn't mind sharing at all if I knew, I got the cam as a present....they boys got together and suprised me about 3 weeks ago! So I haven't had a chance to speak to C&A Autofashion about it yet... Very lumpy tho I love it...waiting at traffic lights....yummy! LOL Will post prob Monday... Sorry :-)
a couple of pics I took today at the LSX shootout
not the greatest but I thought I'd post them up anyway
I only saw the qualifying but you were doing some consistant 12.8s all day![]()
Hi All, some nice looking cars, I am unsure about the removal of the rear spoilers though, removal of the badges is a great idea, I thought about that, but couldn't get away with it now, I am hanging to get mine on the 1/4 mile and see what he is capable of.
Nice car Bronnie and not bad times on the 1/4 mile. I used to live down the morno peninsula, great place, what 1/4 mile did you go too?
I wish there were holden days up here in cairns, it would be good to get heaps of holdens together and cruise to port or something.
Nothing better than big CI. 555rwhp from a NA V8, next another camshaft to see what more I can get from it.
Thank you so much for the pic's redvess. Think I need a darker tint LOL <- apparently thats 2 times darker than legal - BS I say!
I ended up running 12.72 @ 116mph by the end of the weekend and coming 4th in my class only because I broke my time!
This event was held at Heathcote Park Raceway, I have never made it to Calder but I'm itching to get over there.
Cheers again guys.
Well done at Heathcote Bronnie, your car looked and sounded awesome running the 1/4. It launches really well off the line! I was with the Chev's Performance Centre pit over the weekend but didn't get a chance to come over and say g'day (I didn't stay in the pits overnight and kept missing you when walking past your car).
WOW, Nice VE Bronnie, and some good times too :-)
Good to see another Peninsula Member on here.
Good Luck with it, I'll keep an eye open 4 you, I also work in Dandy everyday, we have to cross paths at some stage......
Look forward to some Vid's & Pic's.![]()
If I'm not pulling Toyota's out of the Bush, I'm pulling 12's in the Sig :-)
Thanks Guys for the lovely comments, I'm trying hard with my project! I had an absolute blast that was my 1st comp but have been going to T&T's since October so all the practice came together when I needed it most....
I will look out for you both either at the track or around town. Cheers again!
P.S GOTMYN I saw you the other day...and thought to myself awesome car awesome number plate LOL
