Thats one mean machine!![]()
.... Probably change the rims first.
Well it's been a long time coming and here's a couple of pictures (albeit dirty), only picked it up yesterday.
Going to get the tinting done soon, not sure about mods yet, haven't really thought that far ahead.
Don't mind some of the shots it's a touch dirty from it's week long trip down to Adelaide from QLD. A huge thanks to Adrian at Toowoomba Holden who couldn't have been anymore helpful if he tried, an absolute pleasure dealing with him!
Overall I am wrapped with it, very comfortable but will take some getting used to the manual considering it's been some 12 years since driving the last one.
The Bi-Modal exhaust is awesome as well, great sound when you put the boot in (only been half throttle so far since it hasn't even hit 100km on the clock).
Cheers
Darren
Mmmm, nice one Darren
Maybe some power modslol,
Looks good as is, although some bigger rims could fill those guards nicely
Or lowering it a tad!
The Beast. lovely, Think i prefer E1 clubby rims more though. Lucky bugger
TVR-190: That LSD service paid off. Stato just got very sideways.
Grennan: In a stato, the term is held starboard.
I've never been a fan of lowering or bigger rims unless they are standard, have had thoughts of the 20" pentagons which I actually quite like but we'll see how it pans out, I just don't like the price tag for the tyres.
I prefer the whole sleeper look / sound, I'm not sure how the bi-modal exhaust fairs with the other aftermarket options but it would be perfect to keep that whole stock sound to it until on the throttle
The E2 got me with the braking on cruise control and launch control, pity I really should hold off giving that a test for a bit.
I know I was saying to you that silver is boring, but I actually like it here. Silver with black higlights just seems to work. Tint will have it looking better.

needs some HIDs and white parkers to match the white LEDs doesnt look right with the yellow
It looks to be a different silver all together to dads VY, then again it's probably because his needs a clean.
Tints booked in at Tint a car for this Friday, just can't decide how dark, I don't really fancy a trip down to regency
Funny you should mention that, I was thinking the very same thing.
WOW Darren,
You have something most of us could only Dream of....lol.
What an awesome machine, Good Luck with it, it looks sensational as it is :-)
If I'm not pulling Toyota's out of the Bush, I'm pulling 12's in the Sig :-)
Great colour not that i'm biased, hope you get used to washing the rims every few days, but those brakes are great though.

The brakes are awesome I'll give them that, I had QFM pads previously which I'll get again for sure once these need replacing, very little brake dust on them from what I've experienced.
I was going to put a coat of wax on the rims to make it easier to remove the brake dust but with the crappy weather yesterday I couldn't be bothered.
Very nice. A good tune would be the go.
Damn rightThat's on the cards for sure, I have extractors sitting in the shed although I wouldn't mind keeping the bi-modal exhaust as I actually quite like it, fairly dull puttering around but put the foot down a little and it sounds like it should.
Will have to weigh up the options when the time comes I think.
Very Very sexy , "That stain wasnt there before :S"
Very nice Darren. a Decent CAI and tune should wake it up nicely.
not a huge fan of the LED's but it looks a LOT better in silver then the one i see every day in green![]()

the silver complements the taillights and the body better then i thought it would, sensational!!
Lovely car mate, take care of her.
A...mazing! I hope you enjoy every minute. Test drove a VE E2 GTS the other day... MINT! Lucky Lucky Man! I'm sure you will be keeping us posted on all the up and coming mods... Go simple first OTRCAI and a tune! And I know it's been said but I'm female so I'm aloud to nag... WHITE PARKERS! ; )
Have fun. Cheers, Bronnie...

Bring on the tuning and ortcai, extractors sitting in the shed still but a little undecided on what I do on that front.
Have put 1200km's on the clock so far and not a single problem at all (as you would hope) other than omfg all the black brake dust, I'll have a word them the guys doing the servicing shortly about getting them changed to something different.
