Juzo's MY08.5 VE V8 Calais
Well here is my new toy. Had it for a few weeks now and the mods have started already!
Bought it ex GMH with only 23000 on the clock, stock as a rock.
Mods so far:
Tinted windows
Lowered with pedders sports ryder
Ditched the 17" stockies and went the conservative route with some brand new ssv 19"s on michelin boots.
Custom made KPM catback stainless steel exhaust
Future mods:
Pacemaker 4 in 1's headers with 1 3/4 primaries
Hi flow cats
Duspeed otr
Oztrack efilive Mafless tune
Mabye change the diff ratio from the 2.92 to 3.45's, see what happens there.

Well ordered the rest of my exhaust today. Headers and cats will be going on in about a weeks time. Have also spoken to my tuner and it will be happening also in a week or two.
Can't wait, the auto is shitting me a bit so hoping the tune will sort it out.
Finishing it off with KPM? or another brand?

lol, you'd think that but no not really missing the clutch too much, the auto flares up quite a bit so hopefully the tune will take it out of it. I guess we'll soon find out.
On a side note, decided to buy my own tuning module. This will save sending it back after the tune is uploaded. Up to 8 licenses can be stored on the unit at one time, plus if i want to tweak with the tune a bit down the track i already have the unit to upload the tune once it's emailed through, all in my own driveway which makes it soooo much easier

My otr arrived from Duspeed yesterday. Just waiting for the flashscan unit now for the tune. Headers and cats on monday so this time next week should be all done hopefully!
Intake below, infill panel above the otr finishes off the engine bay nicely, well worth the extra $55 imo.

Autocal showed up today. Should be good to go tomorrow night for the tune.

New exhaust vid. Really happy with the result. Has a excellent note and has taken out the bit of a boom at 2000 rpm it had with just the catback, well worth the $$$ and i give the system a big thumbs up!

Woohoo, intake is on and car has it's first tune in! I'll be doing quite a bit of driving and data logging over the next few days to finalize the tune so should be fun.
Here's a pic of the intake.
And here's the fill panel. Covers up the hole left by the airbox nicely!

Autocal in action!
Taking it for it's first run post tune tomorrow so we'll see how it goes. Auto has been tuned so there is now no first gear (waaaay too short to begin with) and 6th gear has been turned off in power mode, should be good!
Looks great mate, how's the OTR going?
The exhaust looks sweet, what size are the tips on the rear mufflers? Either they are bigger or the Calais have smaller cut-outs?
