Got my 3.7 diff... and WOW..the car is very very responsive. Haven't looked at my fuel usage but at least the drone point has shifted It seem to hang in 5th for a little longer than normal and I will have a chat to the VCM boys about it. I would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to change their stock diff to this.

Also thinking of powder coating my wheels to all gloss black. I initially like the machined face but I think I want the full rims to be black. I will keep the chrome strip on the boot and continue the chrome line through with the door handles (will replace the handles with the caprice ones)

    Cheers

Very Nice wagon, but putting Chev badges on it is the same as putting Ford badges on it, its a Holden Commodore not a Chevy.....i just started a thread on this, why not be a proud Aussie and display the Lion with pride, nothing worse than Aussie kids thinking they are Yank gangsta rappers and chev badges on a Holden.

Did they give you the space saver spare? Thats what they gave me but on the SSV Redline they have Brembo brakes and the space saver doesnt fit with the larger callipers. Thats not Holden Intelligence at work.

    Hey Doc,
the age old emotional discussion on the badges....hahhaha... yes..won't go into it again but it sounded like a good idea when the sales guy asked me whether I wanted the Chev grille. But as you can see the lion is back in black. Have say that I'm still a fan of the sleek look of the bowtie! The back badge just had to go..too big and did look 'out there' in the end.

I had a full tyre not a space saver. My car is a series 1 and is not the Red Line but has the red leather interior which was an option for me. I just replaced my SSV badge with the redline to color code it a bit.

Looks the best with the Lion (black). Even though its not riggy, Redline SSV badges tops it off.

yeah.. after seeing some photos of cars with the W427 bumper on here...I just couldn't help getting one!

This thread was the decider. Met with the guy at his small factory in Dandenong and thought I might as well.

    Hi Guys,
Sorry I'm currently overseas and will send you the info on the pricing etc when I get back. Entourage on my laptop shat itself and now I need the product key which is back at home!! Fricken Microsoft!!! I got the front bar and bonnet from Universal Kustoms. His name is Michael. He's on facebook. Very nice guy. I didn't like the grille as I thought the 'holes' were too big and Michael will be replacing it with one with smaller holes and painted gloss black.

    Thanks for comments guys.

    Edit**
Just got a message from Michael. Pricing below:

Bonnet with scoops painted and fitted - $1350
    Front bar supplied - $650
Paint and fit front bar - $450
inserts painted like genuine w427 extra - $100
    mesh - $80
    foglights and bezels - $190
fitting of mesh and foglights - $100
if you get both its $100 discount off the complete job

Best to contact him on 0412042553

    Cheers guys.
