Jesus! What is it with people and wasting money. Do NOT waste money modding a V6 when for LESS money than the mods cost you can just upgrade to a V8...

You'll spend thousands on a V6 and still get trounced by pretty much anything.

+1 I spent like $4000 on my vs v6 maybe more, got into my ssv ute when i was off p's and totally standard smashes the v6 easily

Saying that tho, it does look pretty nice mate, maybe try get some ssv headlights to finish the front off (if its possible to put them in)

I agree about modding a v6, but he's on his p's and if he wants more power etc. It's goin to be for at least 3 years before he can get an 8 so it's money sorta well spent

and to the others... sorry that a ve sv6 isnt good enough for a first car... i have another 3 years driving a 6 before i can 'legally' upgrade.. of which i will then get a series 2 SS

haha okay :P well all i want to do is upgrade my centre pipes etc as ive only done the rear mufflers which gives a nice note and all but i just want it to be a little louder.. and possibly a cai and MAYBE tune so it all runs alot better with it, other than that.. wheels, bags etc and the possibility of a friend doing a full leather re trim will all be transfered to the new and improved 6L down the track anyway :P

I still think the VE SV6/SS looks better with the wing on. But its still a very nice car, the SSV bits set off the exterior nicely. If it was mine I'd remove the "Commodore" badge on the left side of the bootlid.
Looking forward to seeing your future mods.

i replaced the rear number plate lights with red LED lights today which is kind of a mod lol?

looking to sell my wheels within the next few weeks and get Tourers with the red edges + double red walls or the equus daytona wheels iwth red+white walls

SV6 and SSV are identical to look at in every way except wheels and tail lights. How exactly is it that you don't like a spoiler on the SV6 but do on the SSV?
