Well I've finally got back into a V8, it was a long 14 months without one.
Very happy with the car I've found.

2008 Holden Commodore SSV sedan
6 speed manual
25,000kms
Blue and black leather
Blue dash

Modifications:

Lowered
35% Tint
Full xforce exhaust, headers, 3" high flow cats and 3" catback
SS growler intake
C&V Performance cam 238/xxx .600 lift
PSI valve springs
C&V performance mafless tune
354.7rwkw

Plans:

Only real plans I have for it are:

- Change the number plates!
- G8 bootlip spoiler
- Remove towbar and get a stock rear fascia without the hole or a G8 rear diffuser

This thing sounds awesome and drives great. So lumpy, exactly what I was after that nice idle. Takes a little while to kick over though when turning it on due to the big cam but well worth it imo.

Should get the JHP boot lip its slightly bigger then the G8/ Calais, Covers all the bolt holes and i think it looks better too.

Yeah it looks good and I like how it covers both holes but I hate fibreglass parts and cant go past genuine GM items.

The more I look at that JHP lip spoiler the more I like it, very similar to a VE senator rear lip..

But for $557 painted and fibreglass..its a bit pricey imo..

Agreed.... Someone out there would pay money for them though. Put them on eBay for a few hundred dollars.

I did read it properly and I understand your changing them.

I probably should have clarified as to why the original owner chose that colour to go with Voodoo.

Its all good mate.
Some people in NSW love the ugly yellow and black plates.

It suits some cars but not this one.

WOW! Nice power... once you get the G8 Lip post pic's please I want to get one too but need to see more pics of them... plus the chrome boot lip above the rear number plate would look awesome...

Very nice mate, should put up a sound clip. Standard plates look so much better than the yellow and black eyesores.

And that JHP lip is sweet! Def should add that to the list
