    Hi guys and girls,
    just joined the forums.

    Just Sold my astra sri turbo coupe and got this new toy.

    E Series Clubsport R8
    Colour: Evoke
    Trans: 6 Spd Manual

    Ive only had it for two weeks but i am very happy

    Looks very, very nice. Powder coat those wheels black and it would look even better!

    not really actually.. but some colours just beg for black wheels. Evoke is definitely one.

    I think Evoke is one of those colours that could pull off having the same coloured wheels as the car.

    seen a white VE ute with white wheels and white *shudder* chev badges, didnt look too bad, was certainly different

    haha yeh there are many plans. first will be lowering it, then exhaust, contemplating putting just a baby cam in it, tune etc. nothing too insane as it is a daily.
    the pic was the one in the add for it the weather gods decided to rain the first few days i had her and works been a tad crazy.

    as for painting my wheels ... there is a possibility but i have found a set of 20z i do like... things will be slow as im half way thru the process of applying for the airforce. so little things will be done but hopefully all things goto plan it will be modded while im away

    sounds good! 20s would definitely be the way I would go, but at $70-ish a wheel, powder coating is a good option also!

    Evoke is prob my fave colour in the ve range. No bias or anything! Haven't seen too many hsv's in evoke though, very nice! Enjoy

    yeah the fg f6 or xr6 turbo has a similar colour which has colour coded wheels and looks sexy!
