Just gave the car 2 coats of CG black light followed by a nice coat of 53 Black Pearl wax with a final finish of hybrid v7 spray... It's a great combo.

Bet its going to rain now ....

Cheers mate.. The stripes aren't coping though. They were put on at HSV but are now all cracked, faded etc.. getting them removed soon. Will prob put new ones back on

So have the audio complete now.. sounds pretty insane and a million times better than the 'premium' system!

Had mine fitted when the car was brand new. Car spends 99% of its time in the garage so there 100% fine. I reckon the stripes make the car. Everyone is know hates on them lol.

Stripes are probably coming off this weekend...

They have faded and cracked so bad that im getting comments from people about them now.. detracts from the car. Recon its going to take me ages and pretty worried about the condition of the paint underneath..

Done a test patch and it was fine, but you never know....

Will prob put new ones back on but not for a month or so..

So, removing the stripes is STILL going! To avoid to much damage I'm dissolving them ... Slowly!

Only one hiccup so far but I'm getting excited about the next thing for the car from a cosmetic point of view ...

Got some time this morning so the stripe removal on the bonnet is finally finished! Hoping the roof will be easier!

If you haven't already, grab yourself some plastic razor blades from CCP, a hair dryer and some 3M adhesive remover

Boom! Car decided it was having relationship problems with the radiator hose so decided to get rid!

Limp mode and waiting for a tow back to Holden

They flushed system, replaced hose and tested etc.. And no charge (wish they would make their mind up!)

Update. New radiator. Turns out the tip snapped where the top hose goes in. That was in the hose which blocked it causing the issue. This is why it was inconsistent (driving all day then it spat it out).

They have supplied everything trade price as a gesture of good will - as they should have picked the issue up yesterday.
