Nice car, won't the exhaust mod do your warranty though?

I got the same, except standard and in alto grey. They are pretty quick but I'm going to be chasing some more rwkw soon...

if something stuffs up due to the aftermarket exhaust being fitted yes it will be the warranty will be voided.. but if the issue is due to something else at fault then he will be alright

Nice ute. I'm surprised so many people are settling for the 2.5" Xforce and not going the 3".
In regards to warranty, the only thing a Catback will void is your Exhaust Sensors. It shouldn't cause any issues.

Only really need a 3" If u plan on a cam or supercharger. That being said I got a 3" just to keep my options open.

thats like saying 'why buy a V8', who honestly "REALLY NEEDS" a V8???

i realise you only really need one if your getting cam etc... but they sound so much better than the 2.5"!

haha i'm not stirring, just proving a point

    p.s. i really need a V8.....

Firstly, very sharp looking ute, mate. The wheels are very well suited.

There is honestly FA difference power-wise between a 2.5 and a 3 inch system for the VEs. You won't lose anything by going 3 inch - but you won't gain anything either - so it really just comes down to what sound you prefer.

    I REALLY need a V8 also!

It's a cat back system, so basically just for sound. It will free things up a little bit also though.

    You wouldn't feel the difference between a 2.5 and a 3"

It depends what you want, my 3" makes my ute sound like a tough V8 24/7. All the 2.5" I have heard are quiet as during idle instead of a nice deep grumble and aren't too loud on acceleration either. They do sound alright when you put the foot down though.

So it just comes down to what your after

Thanks for the comments guys ! yeah i will keep that in mind, friend of mine in town has an account with x-force so i am going to order an exhaust very soon. might go the 3" then in that case.

Was going to get a hard lid but even with the discount i get from holden i couldnt justify spend that sorta cash on a lid id rather spend it on mods

furture mods will just be CAI and a tune after the exhaust.
