VE SS A6 Commodore

I purchased my car used which was 11 months old with 16800km on the dial. This car was driven by a manager from head office somewhere in Sydney. I took it for a test drive and immediately fell in love with this car. It's in great condition with hardly any marks. The tyres on the car does not look like it had been driven hard. I plan to enjoy the car for a while before I start looking at mods for it.

Specs: L76 GEN IV 6.0L 260kW 6-Speed Automatic

Interior: Standard (I'm not sure if the letter "SS" embroided on front seats are standard???)

Exterior: Standard

Future Mods: I'm looking at something similar to the OzTrack Tuning's 325kw "Bolt on" power package. It consists of -

• Duspeed II OTR installed full exhaust, inc long 4 into 1 extractors HPC coated, metal cats and a twin 2.5" quiet system. Dyno Tuned and I am unsure whether I leave the AFM to be optimized or turned off.

Very tidy looking car, mate. Congratulations on the purchase.

The SS embroidery on the seats is standard with the leather option, I believe - I don't have it on my cloth seats.

Also, I think the best bet is to switch the AFM off, as it tends to drone like a bastard when it kicks in and an aftermarket exhaust is fitted. Unless you spend all your time on the Highway, it makes SFA difference in economy.
