Any QUESTIONS JUST ASK
great car. so much you can do with it. wheels. lower it. even drop a body kits to it. i just ordered the led tail lights for mine. look great. your on the perfect site to get info on the VE. and if you get nice wheels get good lock nuts.
Custom ideas ( CHEV BADGES WILL NOT BE PUT INTO THE FINAL OUTCOME)

Tell me what you think guys and girls
wow, thats a big change maybe candy apple red?![]()
so your a p plater... no wonder we have a bad name, its cause of people like you.
U seem to be planning what i did for my omega. i put the fog lights in my omega front bar and put the ss lip kit on the front, rear and side skirts. However i reckon losing the chev badge and the two tone will be better
I actually think some two-tone paint jobs look great. And red is a good place to start - though I'd be leaving black alone. In the same way that the black SS front bar clip just makes the front bar look shorter (to me) a black top half in two tone, loses the natural shape of the car. I'd go for something like a really deep purple (read the old HRT colour or even slightly lighter) so that it still looks dark, but catches the light better than black and lets you still see the curves of the car. Also, my tip would be to cut the colour change off at the shoulder line of the car - rather than elongating it over the front bar... so it would cut across at the upper, outside corners of the headlights and be done and dusted at the bonnet, at roughly the same level as the shoulder crease. Just my thoughts. Too much stylising has to go into making it creep down over the front bar, which again takes away from the design of the car.
thnx for the ideas, ima do a quick mock up of the vinyl work tonight after work.
yea i dont really like the HSV bumper thats y im going to go with a custom made lip from an ss bumper.
also the idea for the colour that u said is not to my likinng because ive gotten this ide from the SA HAMMER SSV and looks abit ordinary, and i kindof really like the creeping down of it
but hery if it turns out nice with the custom lip bumper , maybe ill do it :P
Really? u done that? do u mind putting up some pictures??. nah im doing vinyls as "paint" just so that the car has abit of protection from the sun because my old mazda s pain started fadin last summer coz its been sitting in the sun while i was at work and theres no shadow for me to park under . so im doing a two toneand im not sticking a chev badge in it haha im not chuck norris :P
SSL at all 4 wheels u wont regret![]()
looks beasty! definitely go with that mate !! if its an ss id keep the chevy badges too but thats just me >.<
dont go with the two tone that they some people recommended in above post.. stay with this style thats what id do on my future VE SS >.<
ps. i too am thinking of using candy red (Glossy red) but its gotta be a bloody good carrrr!![]()
To the OP. Tint the windows, fit a set of 19" wheels and lower it slightly. Will look subtle and classy.

I like the two tone business - just remember that the paint under the vinyl won't fade whereas the other paint will.
