The other thing to remember is that NO ONE makes adapter rails for the VE/G8 - so it has to be custom and engineer approved.

Daz did this (green ute, 454, W427 front end) with, from memory, 6mm plate bolting onto the factory rails. All approved and signed off. This was with recliners though.
I have been led to believe the Icons do actually bolt straight on as there is a guy who, like me, wants to do the same seats and has investigated. I must ask him.

Thanks mate. Yeah, I bought the stickers on ebay. I did one coat of clear, then put them on and then did another coat of clear. The only thing I think is that they are too small. The actaul Brembo 'logo' on them normally nearly fills up that whole face.

Brakes on. Sorry for the pic. It's been raining and the car is filthy.

What can I say but WOW! This shifter is amazing. I have used a gm Motorsport knob but the shifter is MGW. It's terrific. Nice and precise and has removed all the sloppy stock feel. Highly recommended

So, after talking with another member, I have blatantly ripped off his idea.... Cheers for the suggestion mate.

Stickers being made for the wheel caps. Green layered with gloss black. Due to the 'design' of my wheel caps, I needed something that was a complete circular sticker.

    Just some updates...

Friday a 10 days ago I did this entering a driveway

Yesterday, my local Touch Up Guys Mobile Bumper Repairs, Chips & Scratches, Exterior Car Detailing - Calamvale - Touch Up Guys

came round and fixed it. Charged me $150

Havent seen it out in the sun yet but it looks like a good job. Stewart was great and lives a few streets away. Recommend him for any of the suburbs close to me or they do have guys in other areas.

Some may know I am getting the rear Brembos and one fellow brethern who I am helping get the same brakes suggested caps for my wheels similar to what he had done. After his suggestion I admit to using it so big thanks Rob

Anyway, stickers arrived on Friday and I put them on yesterday.

I know it doesnt match the brakes well but it is the same green vinyl used on my Hi-Torque stickers. Steve from one of my club sponsors, Wrapture, supplied and as usual did a great job.

Done the exact same thing, but on a concrete sleeper. Shame I'm in SA otherwise I'd use him, looks like a good job.

Easier said than done but don't stress about color match - didn't notice until I read your comment about it. It looks awesome!

Centre cap colour is close enough - there's enough black separating it from the callipers to make it barely noticeable.

Might need to be a little careful with your choice of wheel cleaner (if any) so as not to mess with the adhesive (unless the stickers are covered and I missed that somewhere?)

Mate, it's not actually that bad. Just don't rush them. My guy Steve did an awesome job on these. If you seriously want them let me know and I'll put you in touch.
