    Default Jessie's first VE!!!

    Hey,

So after driving and being driven in previous boyfriends comodores and never really having my own. I finally bought my own!!

My current boyfriend is totally jealous as he had to sell his 07 VE SSV a year ago.

So I bought an 09 VE CALAIS VE with only 10,000 kms!!
Its black with HSVi modifications EWB and FWD.
I understand EWB is the 19" rims but Im yet to discover what FWD is.

The first thing I have done to it is put bonnet and headlight protectors on it.
Next im going to get the windows tinted and thats it for the time being.Jessie's first VE!!!-calais.jpg
It also has a different spoiler too and white leather interior

That's an awesome calais love it, love the dark paint and light leather interior, I wouldn't bother with a bonnet protector because the clips scratch the bonnet.

^^^ second thing you should do is remove the bonnet protector and install it in the bin!

Aside from that, she's a gorgeous looking calais! Very, very nice.

    Hi Thanks for the comments.
Why am I to take the bonnet proctector off? I just put it on!

I am so please with my purchase as I wasnt even looking for a new car but I couldnt pass up the good deal. I was looking at an 07 Morpheous SV6 but the salesman at
the car yard was a total dick to me so I decided not to bother looking anymore. This was until I got bored the following week so my boyfriend and I checked out our local
auction and when I saw this Calais I just knew I had to have it!!!

10820KM for an 09 I ended up picking it up for 27K it has all options plus HSVi enhancements

Well on the topic of bonnet protectors, they can get crap (and i use crap as a technical term :-p) built up behind them and that "crap" rubs and scratches the paint. n they just don't look all that hot.

As well as being grit traps, they can buffet around when the car is at speed and scratch the crap out of the bonnet underneath them. Also, the mounting points will rip the paint off.

Yeah lose the bonnet protector, you won't need it. Also should've saved your money on the headlight ones too, you'll never be able to break one of those unless you're unfortunate enough to be in a bingle, in which case the protectors won't save them anyway.
Don't take these comments the wrong way, it seems like people are having a go at you but it's just advice for you to take on board for future reference. Congrats on the purchase, very nice pick up.
