my VE SS
Hi everyone, I signed up to JC in 09 but didn't have time till now to log on.. So here goes.
This is my VE SS I bought with 10k on the clock back in 08, its never skipped a beat.. within 20 minutes of purchase I had a set of SSV 19's on it, was pretty impressed with the performance from stock (mind you my daily before that was a standard six banger VT) A month later saw a an Xforce 2.5'' cat back and a set of 20's and something had to be done about that ridiculous ride height so a set of Lovells were thrown in too, these mods kept me happy for the next 6 months.. 2010 rolled in and I was hungry for power so a call to Carline in Maitland where Todd and I sat down and discussed some set ups.. I went with a full Xforce exhaust 1 7/8 4into1's, hi flo cats and kept the 2.5'' cat back, a 217 225 114o cam, VCM OTR and a gearbox tune up saw 307rwkw (411HP) I was very happy with the outcome.. Just in the last month I've added the SSV tail lights and a 20% tint all round..

Na, first owner was a 70 yo couple from Rockhampton, the thing didn't get revved pass 3 grand lol

Love them in white... looks mint mate... but can't stand the chrome wheels..

Cheers guys, I had same wheels in polished alloy and they looked sh*thouse so I went with chrome and they've grown on me over the years lol.. Yeah true they should stick to the 6's haha

update: got some sony 6.5'' splits for an early fathers day pressie off my 2 beautiful boys, big thanx to JC member boneart for his awesome write up on the ''how to''.. had it sorted and pumping a decent sound in 3 hrs flat

something different than the usual SS or CHEV bowtie.. All badges will be removed when the door handles get shaved and front end respray is done..
Not a fan of the rims myself, but looks neat and tidy mate well done.

-Lovell springs F & R
-GT Monroe shortened shocks
-strut bearings
-front sway bar
-rear sway bar
