Default MY FIRST CAR!!!! 2006 Black VE V

Got my P's in June and ended up buying this for my first car.

At the moment most of it is all stock, all ive done so far is put new 19" G8 rims on it and lowerd with king springs(thinking about going abit lower)

-At the moment i wanna get new rear and front lights maybe ss.. thoughts or any ideas?
-was thinking about putting in a growler induction kit.
-wanna paint the calipers red and aswell as few things under the bonnet
-and i wanna get a quad exhaust but in order to get a half decent look outa that i might get a sv6 front and rear bumpers and install bottom fog lights on the front
-Anddd i wanna do up the sound at the moment its all stock. all the VE's come with is speakers in the door so i was thinking about putting 6x9's in that back tray behind the back seat.. with those two installed would it be much louder?

im really open to ideas because im pretty new to this and love to here what people think

Heres a picture dunno why but it looks crap in photos compared to real life

Well done mate. Nice ride. Even simply putting a good set of rims and lowering a VE and they simply come up great.

My only advice. Do things once. It may cost you slightly more but you will be happier later. I know, I have learnt the hard way

You can get an insert for the rear bar that will take the dual exhaust outlets (quad tips) which will cost HEAPS less that a front and rear bar (around $60 from memory) then you just need to pick up an exhaust from an SV6/SS, a few mounts, hangers and heat shields and you're good to go!

Looks really tidy mate. Nice work and best of luck!

Good job on the first Car mate!
I was actually suprized how much I like the G8's on you car, they actaully look really good in 19" unlike most cars which have 22" g8's which look like they have dinner plates for rims

Will be keen to see what you'll do with it in the future!

Looks real nice mate, those rims are sick,
In regards to the sound system i would not worry about more speakers just replace the stock speakers and then see what you think. TinSnips is correct you can get a sidi rear diffuser for the twin outlets way cheaper. Oh and get ssv lights all round check ebay and a HID kit.

And one more thing unless you really wish to just burn cash it appears performance mods are not worth it.

the idea regarding the back bar sounds good i was just going with the sv6 bumpers because i love the look of the sv6 back and front but saying that your ideas pretty good and by the sounds a fair bit cheaper.

regarding the sound system i was thinking about just changing the door speakers aswell

The thing is, if you're going to get the back and front of an SV6, you'll need the sides as well, or the profile will look odd. Not a cheap thing to do, though has been done. You may be lucky and pick up a decent second hand set already in phantom from a wrecker. Will definitely be more than 60 bucks though!

    I used this thread

How to install LED's in Footwell of VE Commodore

not a bad thread, just remember to wire your led strips up in parallel to your dome light and you should also use a LED dome light.

Oh and i used these and i am quite happy.
