Almost complete, everything trimmed and dry and ready to go into the car tomorrow so I can work on the top panel and all will be complete until the wiring and subs arrive

Weighs quite a bit and thats without the top panel and subs!

Top panel in! Didnt quite go as well as I planned, would not go in in one piece so had to cut it into two, and then couldnt figure out why I had cut it the way I had? Either way it all fits. Im 95% happy with how its turned out, there are somethings I would do differently if I were to do it again but Im not gong down that road.
Also there is an issue with getting the 27V1 subs, have been offered 27V2's, however I will have to run them together at a load of 4 ohm, where the 27V1's would run together with a load of 2 ohm so I could take full advantage of my amp. Other option is to run the 27V2's at a load of 1 ohm, but I just dont know if my amp will be stable to run it, manual doesnt state it is anywhere so Im not sure if I wanna risk it :S

looks good, im assuming the wheel jack is being moved or staying where it is, its a pain in the arse to get out/in normally.

Havnt played with the jack yet, the whole lot has to come out when the wiring odds and ends arrive anyway so if I cant get it out now then ill take it out then and work something out, even if I just strap it in the tray somehow, it doesnt really bother me

Cheers again for the comments guys!

3 week wait on the subs though oh well...

Decided to make a nicer fascia for the mono block, never glassed before so it was a pretty steep learning curve and frustrations aside I really enjoyed the project and the outcome

Turns out was probably a real bad choice of shape for a first timer with some odd lumps and bumps in the fleece, fixed it up with a bit of filler...

Sneak peak at the amp fascia finished up, taken on iphone so excuse shitty pics...

Also first photos ive taken with my subs in. Made a rookie error when covering the fascia, but all in all im pleased with my first attempt at such a thing

Ok some shitty quality pics of it all together, Im really not happy with the top panel and its hideous join behind the drivers seat and a retarded decision to not continue the carpet over the top of the sub boxes has come back to bite me on the arse so I have to rectify that and think of how to do the top panels better. Will be the same design almost just need to think of a way to either do it in one piece or a way it can be put in with a fold in it with out a join in the carpet.....

Can also just see in the pics where I had to make a cut in the carpet while trimming the amp fascia as I couldn't simply just lay the carpet over and push it down into it, if I knew it was going to have to happen I would have trimmed it by starting at the bottom and making the cut at the top where it points down and wouldnt have been as big. Not to sure how to fix that one....

Loving the install. If you took the passenger seat out would the top pannel go in without having to be cut in half?

Cheers hux, the prob isnt getting the panel in, it fits around everything fine, its fitting it in between the two bits of trim where it wedges into the sides just above the rear compartment lights Potentially I could make it one piece and put it in first before the boxes but my god it was a pain in the arse to get the right shape initially without having to pull boxes in and out to fit it in, thinking about it though it may be the only option....

Other options running through my head are to mount an extinguisher on top on one side and a med kit on the other? Would cover the join partially while adding some extra safety to the car?
