Default My 2010 Series 2 VE SS (HDT Retro look)

    Hi Guys,

Just thought i would post some pics of my Series 2 2010 SS.
Changed the look of it by taking the wing off, de-badging the standard holden SS and holden badges, put the HDT and the retro VE/VK kit on it.
Put a cold air intake and just a cat back exhaust.
Waiting for the VE/VK Grille to arrive shortly to go along with the Walkinshaw bonnet scoop.

umm.. i can still see a wing

Concept good but i think if your going to go retro - then go all out with HDT. You have 2 looks going with the walkie bonnet scoop..

    THIS is retro

Apart from that, your ride looks tidy mate and love that colour

I think, loose the HDT SS badges. Maybe just put the brock signature in the bottom corner of the side skirt (where clubsport is written on a clubby).

Thanks Ed, the VE/VK rear wing is next on my list. HDT said they are about to release the series 2 one soon.

    NEEDS WHITE WHEELS!!!!!!!!!!!

I seen a voodoo VK HDT replica and its lookd great on the 16" areo rims but what ever wheel you choose to run need to be white, I like the scoop its different like the colour just a little something out of the normal

Holy shit, just been searching for what my next car will be after my current VZ and was thinking to myself, hmmm, one of those walkinshaw bonnet scoops and an old brocky rear wing would look mad if it fit a VE 2010 SSV. then lo and behold I stumble across the HDT site from an old street machine link. I love the look of these, I see the price of the proper HDT is like $115K or sumthin yeh?
anyways this over HSV for style imo. Brocky's cars were one of the things that made holden 'the' brand for me, that and Toranas so to have that retro look on the new car and connect to that nostalgia for the old cars is priceless. nice looking ride dude, keep up the work, it looks sick, despite what others may think.

Does anyone know if the grille insert fits anythng other than SS or SSV?
It would also fit a SV6 and with some modding it may fit an Omega Berlina
