    Hello from the USA!

    I want to thank the Aussies for sharing the Holden with us! I've bought my 2009 Liquid Red Pontiac G8 GT with only 40 miles on the odometer. (still only at 4200 miles, she's a garage queen and never see snow or rain)

    Thank you all for the great forum and great mod ideas.

    I only have a few appearance mods so far and not much done yet as far as performance upgrades either.

    Current Mod list:
    2009.1 Liquid Red GT Premium/Sport w/Sunroof
    Partial Debadge, Cargo Liner & Weathertech Digitalfit floor mats,
    Superchips Cortex 93 Performance Tune, GTPprix's Atari Gauge Mod & OEM Bluetooth & VIM, Leather sliding center console cover, Pace Performance Jack Kit and full size spare, Rotofab CAI and rad cover, Mobil 1 Oil cap, GXP axlebacks.

    High Flow Cats

    Have you decided on the supercharger route? I am looking at heading down this path soon but can't makeup my mind.

    I really like the VE SS spoiler but for some reason they bolted on our small lip spoiler. To replace with the SS would involve filling the holes and repainting the trunk lid.

    I'm looking at the Magnuson/Eaton 1900 Supercharger but haven't done a lot of research on it yet.

    Supercharger would be awesome! Car is looking great. I also love how the door handles have the chrome edge! I think I need that on my car! I also like the front grille of the pontiac. Gives it an aggressive look.

    That seems to be the weapon of choice as described to me recently, from a quick browse around the past couple of days that looks identical to the Harrop HTV 1900 just at a much cheaper price than here in Australia, just found a place for ~$7300 vs $10500 AUD, now obviously shipping will be a bit pricey but not $3000 that's for sure.

    Off to do a bit more research

    nice car mate. don't get rid of the boot lip spoiler, looks mint.... maybe one day america will get our new sport wagon...

    Mate, go the 2300 series over the 1900. The bigger capacity 6.2ltr with a cam is more suited than the 1900. You will be glad you did I assure you! Your gearbox won't be glad you did but!

    Darren: If you are keen on the 1900 Eaton/Magnuson, be quick and call CAPA. They got a heap shipped over from the states when the dollar was REALLY good and are selling them for $6000 or $8000 drive in/drive out. That's with a w2a cooler and bigger injectors. Will be the exact same kit as you quoted directly from the states!
