Gday guys this is my VE 06 Calais V looking very nicely done with the rims and the colour.

Have only had the car for 2 - 3 weeks looking to do some extra things to the car but just wondering if there was anything that anyone recommends etc.

Those rims, did they come with the car. I can't say I've seen them before and I think they'd look nice with Ignition Orange.
I personally love the SSV rims but can't seem to find a decent set.
Also not sure if I want 19's or 20's... What you reckon? I need opinions and reasons lol.

They are SSV rims arent they... painted in shadow?

there the new series 2 thunder rims they come in gun metal or shadow grey from factory

yeh sorry about pic size i resized them all and deleted others so will get some bigger ones up.

As stated they are the Thunder rims the car came with them on champion find.

Mods i want to fit exhaust system butttttt not sure on what else dont want to make it look tooo out there but want to make it look and sound MEAN! haha

Hello again,

Love the colour also have been having problems with the car with a brand new gearbox fitted and some electric problems with the drivers window and air con were very annoying but all fixed under warranty which was fantastic.

Havent done much since last as i havent really had the car since i bought it. Am looking to install exhaust system shortly although will have to look around i would like it to sound deep and have a burble , installed phillips bulbs in the front as i thought the projector head lights were sufficient for lighting , I have installed LED interior lights which are as bright as hell, got Blue LEDS in main door lamps, centre console, glovebox and boot to match colour of the car and white for the map reading , Got a boot mat genuine holden one cheap which makes the boot look better and preserve the carpets, Got genuine Holden mats throughout the front and back, got a stubby aerial as opposed to the whip aerial which doesnt decrease the reception which is fantastic , and lastly and most recently have installed "THUNDER STRUCK" in the chrome 3D lettering on the side of the car making it unique .

Scrapped the supercharger idea, because it was too expensive much to my disgust but couldnt justify the expense.

If there are any ideas please let me know i would love to hear it, will post some pictures up when it stops bloody raining its been non stop ! haha
