09 VE SV6 Ute
Hi all,
My name is Leighton. I am currently living in Gladstone QLD. Im new to this site and thought i would post my new ute up.
A bit about me..
I have previously owned a Holden Ute (VY 6Cyl) I sold it about a year ago and bought a stock as a rock little 2003 Ce Lancer. (which i still have now and have done a few mods too) as it was a heaps cheaper option for insurance/fuel.
Since i sold the ute i have been really keen to get another.. And now i have one again!! sooooo happy(definately worth the $$)

I have purchased some Personalised Plates for the ute too
What i want to do: (hopefully in this order)
-20" wheels DONE
-Coilovers DONE
-Exhaust mod DONE
-Sound system from my Lancer to go into Ute.
(1x12" Alpine Type S subs, Apline Type R splits) DONE
-De-Badge the rear
Thats all at the moment. Probably a few other things to do but just of the top of my head these are my main mods.
Im not going to sit here and ask 1000 questions. Going to go search the forums now and hopefully get some answers as i bet the questions i ask have more than likely been asked 100 times before.
Anyways Cheers guys, looking forward to being a regular on this forum.

20" Versus Enduro Wheels (14-11-2011)
Pedders Coilovers (15-11-2011)
2.5" Stainless Steel Exhaust system (Twin Tips) (15-11-2011)
Sound system (16-11-2011)
Cant wait..
Will get some before and after Pics.
Will have to book in Window Tint after i get some $$ again. The above stuff will be buring a hole in my pocket :P
Havent even picked the ute up yet lol. (Picking it up Friday 4th November)

Your ute is going to be smick as, i got the same model but 08, so far ive done exhaust (2 1/4" catback twin) , sound system (2 polk audio 12" subs, speakers, amp) next thing i am doing is wheels and lowered....keen to see how those coilovers go on your ute

How does the 2 1/4" exhaust sound? Is the 2.5" option im doing a good option?
The exhaust shop guy recommended it so thats why im goin with that lol.
Im hoping these coilovers look good and feel good.
Hey how did you get the 2x12" Subs in the ute?
Ive got two 12" Alpine Type S subs in my lancer at the moment and the guy at car audio place recons that he wont be able to get two subs in the back coz of the battery, but he said he will try..
Do you have pics? If so ill take them in to the audio dude.

I won a Toyota Aurion Presara about a month and half ago and sold it for $40k
I cleared a bit of previous debt (credit card and personal loan) locked 22k away and set certain amt aside to be spent on the ute. Had a bit of money sittin there before i won the Aurion too.
Hoping to sell my lancer soon which will give me another handfull of cash to play with :P

Well the ute ended up getting its Pedders Coilovers, exhaust, 20z and umm it is still at the Car Audio shop for next few days while they do the fibreglass sub box and stuff. Will be nice to get it back with everything done.
