G'day boys and girls thought I'd join up been looking on here for a little bit. Some of you may recognize me or my car from macarthur commodores.

So here's my car it's an e1 r8, xforce extractors custom 3" catback with hurricane mufflers. Dus OTR, ripshifter ,edelbrock coilcovers , hidden wiring in engine bay . Has eibach swaybars ,slightly debadged did the stripes , 20" speedy wheels with my hsv 19" running semi slicks for trackdays. Head and cam . Mid boot install. polished bits in engine bay, walkinshaw scoop, Halo headlights and foglights , xtreme twin plate carbon ceramic clutch, walkinshaw foglight covers, iPhone harness into headunit (plays videos and charges it too). Also soon to have a half cage with 4 point harness

Thanks yeah heaps planned just gotta get the time to do it all . I've got so many parts in my garage for it

Oh nice as, it sits really tough, care to share you going to keep it N/A or go down the boost road?

Going to do a single turbo setup on it after summernats as my time is very limited atm so won't be done in time for it. Had a look at supercharging it but dollar for dollar to buy and fuel consumption turbo is the best option for what I want

Ohh yeah nice! rather take the time and do it right the first time ey instead of trying to rush it, should be a nice weapon!, im going to have to keep an eye on here

Waiting for my cage to be fabricated ATM think I'll get some looks when people see the 4point harnesses. When I'm doing the motor plan is to clean the bay up to and hide a few things

Haha yeah I love silver on the ve. Late afternoon watching it change colour in the shadows looks great. It's my second silver one had a my10 sv6 before

So getting everything ready for some circuit work . Fitted my 1kg extinguisher in the boot and have started to wire up my battery isolator putting it just behind my bonnet next to the wiper arm mount. Will have my isolator and tow point stickers on tomorrow night so it'll be pretty obvious what the car is for . Still no word on my cage yet can't get hold of the builder but I'll keep trying

Nice ride, the R8's are finished off really nicely, any reason you didn't go the ASE twin turbo way? they're nice small one's tucked up out of sight, I wouldn't have thought there would be too much price difference between them by the time you go manifold etc for the single.

Love the car mate. Looks awesome
And yeah they never used to care where it was but they are cracking down on this a lot more now and they want them accessible by you when you strapped in. My mate had to change his at the last hill climb up at the mount because he had his mounted behind his drivers seat and they made him move it before he could run.
