New guys VE SS

[Ignition6L]

Hi Guys, Kind of new here so thought I would chuck up a build thread on my SS.

Engine: 6L L98 V8

Transmission: 6speed Auto

Exhaust: Hurricane 1 7/8 4into1 headers, 100cpi hi flow cats, twin 3inch Xforce catback. Sounds fantastic but for anyone looking to do the same combo it is very loud

Suspension: Short body Boag shocks all round with King Ultra (SSS) low springs all round. Sits great however the exhaust is less then 60mm off the ground, doesn't bother me but for anyone interested.

Wheels: Stock 18inch SS rims.

Modifications: VCM OTR, VCM infill panel, Mafless tuned, 20% Tint, Chev grille painted black (only untill i find a holden grille as I bought it with the chev grill), debadged everything (some photos show it with the badges), bee sting antenna, interior pieces wrapped in 3m carbon vinyl, brake calipers painted black, GXP diffuser, wing removed and personalized plates.

Future Plans: Bigger cam along with valve springs and what not, diff gear, powder coat the wheels satin black, wrap the roof and mirrors in cabon vinyl, G8/Calais lip spoiler wrapped carbon vinyl, SSV taillights and I want some ignition floor mats.

The SS has run a 13 flat @ 109mph full weight as is. At the time the tune was not spot on as I had just added the VCM OTR and the tune was not adjusted (was running mafless prior but just through the stock Airbox bypassing the maf). So the tune is all sorted now and I will go for another few runs there is a 12 in it. It was tunned to E85 for a few weeks but never got around to going to the track and I switched back to 98 as I only have one E85 pump in the area so it was a pain in the arse.
