Default STRETCH LIMO - HSV E Series Clubsport R8!

Just thought I'd share the progress of the build of our 'HSV Limousines' Clubsport limo.

Based in Sydney and due for completion at Christmas.

    - Seats 8 in the back (leather HSV-style sports seats)
    - Full in-car entertainment system with audio, lighting and twin LCD TVs

More photos to come as the build progresses, the latest photo is from this week when the car came out of the spray booth.

    Cheers,
    Andrew

    Omg, sexxxy as!

Wonder how it affects the ESP?

Think you will need bigger brakes, LOL.

Myabe some more power too, to combat the extra weight of course,

I'm pretty sure that somewhere in the fine print that chopping the car in half voids the warranty.

Though would be interesting to see if you can still claim on the engine.

So will all the seats be genuine HSV?

Also will you be able to get 19" tyres with a higher load ratings?

Hey guys thanks for the interest, I'll try and get to all questions; I'll have to get back to some of them tonight.

Images will be re-posted later today too without the logo/business name.

The car will be out of the paint shop this week and they'll then be getting into the interior!

Funnily enough, the salesman did try and upsell extended warranty, but was kindly told not to worry if cutting the car in half would cause a problem there

Due to the configuration of the rear cabin (3 forward, 2 side, 3 backward) and those back and side facing seats having to fit in different positions we couldn't have genuine HSV, however our builder and their trimmer are replicating the HSV seats with a nice subtle touch of red. (the existing seats will of course be re-trimmed to match) We should have some interior shots in the next couple of weeks...

We wanted to keep the original 19" rims and yes we were able to get the right tyres with a higher load rating (I'm not sure on the brand, sorry).

The guys who did the cut through the roof has got balls of steel. I wouldn't dare do shit like that to a POS Excel (eventhough it woud be a great feeling!). I wonder if all the seats will be genuine HSV's? Op, when this project is finished you must send a pic to Holden!

The R8 limo has left the trimmers and is back at the limo builders to be finished off! Delivery is set for some time next week, Christmas will be coming a few days early...

Exciting times, we should have some more photos up of the interior tonight.
