Tremendous looking Ute, congrats. You are so lucky to be able to buy such awesome vehicles. There was rumors that the Ute was finally going to come to the states in 2015 as an El Camino, but the UAW killed that. Instead we're stuck with the Colorado/Canyon when the refresh comes in 2013.
Small pickup truck sales in the states have been in free fall for about 7 years now, for the same money you can buy a fullsize truck here and get about the same MPG - so people aren't buying the various small trucks - and the Colorado/Canyon is just awful anyway.
So consider yourself lucky - you've got an awesome truck!

Few more pics. Added the Zinardi hardlid, big thanks to Utemart at Burleigh Heads for the great finish and fit. Reverse camera fitted, the views not too bad with the Zinardi lid as it's tapered down the middle so gives a decent view when reversing.
Looking at adding DRL's and then exploring options to get it cammed, probably around tax return time

Mate she still dances around a bit in the wet trying to get the power to the ground.
Installed some HIDs on the weekend and topped up all the levels, looking at putting a few km's on over the Easter break.
Mate that ute is awesome, I love the hardlid, that was biggest annoyance with the factory twin hump hard lids, they had the big lip at the back of them and it looked out of place IMO, even mine has a slight lip but nothing outrageous
Again nice ute I'll have to keep an eye on it
