    Default Steels SV6 UTE

    MY12 LFX SV6

UPDATE. Just had my 15k service. I must say it has been an awesome car to drive and work with. While i would like some more power at call, the sv6 is a GREAT car. I have one chip of paint on the bonnet which i can see the undercoast plus a dent aswell Not sure how to fix it! Boo hoo.

A mates wife works for a holden so I have ordered sports peddles, the redline 19" wheels ( old style i really love them. Yes even how shiney they are ) with the brembo front break package, and a towbar all for quite cheap.

My sound system is also being updated with some focal splits and a focal Ibus 2.1, i know its not a bass smashing machine but ive heard the set up and to my ears sound divine! A quick up dated picture below and i will be posting more pics as i get more done .

    _________
Had it for 2 months now. I love it. 4600k's Driven!

    FACTORY:
3 piece Hard Cover & Sports bar ( sort of wondering why i got this now, looked good at the time )

    MODS:
    K&N Filter.

    TO COME:
Tint - Still to find a place / time to get this done!
19" - 20" Wheels - Not sure which ones yet still researching.. any ideas ?
Lower The Back to be in line with the front.
Sound system ( im thinking of doing this myself, not sure how hard it would be. Dynamating the doors and installing an amp etc etc.)

Not sure i want to do to much more than that. As i think when im off my p plates ( yes im 29 and on my p's - Long story ) i might update to an SS. But until then i love the SV6 UTE. Compared to my old 1995 Impressa GX its akin to wiping my but with silk compared to sandpaper

Thanks mate. The interior is nice I'll take some photos this arvo with a better camera

Alot of people don't like the VE interior but I do

Question: WHY does it rain only after I have washed waxed aka 4 hours of cleaning the beast ???!?

Rule of the universe, it only rains after you wash your car. Last time my Mum washed her car, we got a La Nina for 2 years :/

I like the interior, I have an 07 Omega, tbh as long as I have cloth seats - I'm happy. I just really hate leather, very uncomfortable, especially in summer. Did you buy it brand new?

UPDATE. Just had my 15k service. I must say it has been an awesome car to drive and work with. While i would like some more power at call, the sv6 is a GREAT car. I drove it down to melbourne just before the 15k service and it was a dream i got 780k's from one tank and many a time whilst over taking hitting 140-150+ with out even knowing.. The car hammers from 2nd gear onwards and handles corners like a BOSS. My only gripe is the first gear... which leaves alot to be desired and take off sometimes i get smashed by toyota camrys :O but over all im extremely happy with it.

I have one chip of paint on the bonnet which i can see the undercoast plus a small dent aswell Not sure how to fix it! Boo hoo.
