hahaha i knew this would come up, it has so far for my vs senator, then vy ute and then vx xu-6. i've worked for my old man as an apprentice mechanic at his car dealership ever since i was 15 full time. before that i did anything i could think of for a quid, and have saved every dollar i could get access too. currently i rebuild autos after hours for extra cash. i also used to buy cars and resell (not many, mainly just 8's and vl turbo's and that kinda stuff. fix them up and move them on). i fit cd players, uhf's, towbars etc etc after hours. basically anything.

so yeah, i definately will not have any finance/money owing on the vehicle. i'v already paid for it, and haven't yet seen or driven it. so u think ur keen for pics, i'm just keen to have a drive. lol.

i have full respect to anyone who is young and works their arse off to get what they want. or people who are old... i just hate people who get hand outs and rub it in other peoples faces.

well picked it up today. haven't got pics yet cause i was too busy loading all the **** into it, and putting the headlight and bonnet protectors on, remembering how to use the bluetooth again, loading up the cd player etc etcsuperbox isn't in yet, as to fit the rails you need to apparantely remove the seats, rear mufflers & muffler heat sheilds, tubliner, etc etc to drill all the holes and fit the bolts. sounds time consuming and the hoist wasn't available at home, so i think i might do it sunday if i get time.

but yeah, alloytec 195 is a major improvement over alloytec 190 in vz sv6 and calais, even though it may only be a claimed 5kw, there must be a big improve in the torque or torque curve? i haven't checked but it definately feels a large amount stronger down low. 6 speed manual is awesome, love it.

88GreenVN: no drama's, will do. how is your little project coming along anyway?

Andyman: long story, last one had a few teething problems, and didn't ever seem to be right afterwards. as i said, long story. i'm still not a fan of alloytec's featured in the vz series but omg do the ve's go better, more fuel efficient, and overall power/torque delivery so much smoother.

Troy 711: superbox was just an idea for me, as it enabled me to be able to lock my shotgun and ammo away when going to clay target shooting, also stops it rolling around in the tray. however, upon reading the instructions if i had known fitting the rails was so involved i probably would have found something else to do the job. none the less, i don't think i'll regret it now anyway.
