New Phantom SV6 Ute

Well I picked up my New SV6 Ute this week, just in time for christmas! So far she's got alloy pedals installed along with bluetooth and window tint...and leather seats courtesy of Holden stuffing up (can't argue with free leather!)

I plan to get some new wheels thrown on (20inch) and also lowered. On the way is the hard cover which couldn't be delivered in time, and also personalised plates (black with white letter/number)...gonna have to work some serious overtimes in the new year...

Thanks Mate, my first new car so it's my pride and joy! They actually said to me when they found out it was coming with leather "you can have it for no extra charge or if your not happy with leather we can try and find you a new ute"...it was a no brainer really!

The plates are just my initials and year I was born in, originality plus!

Thanks for the responses! Unit....I would like it a touch lower but the roads up in north queensland aren't really suitable...plus to get up my driveway i have to get up an everest-like gutter....don't think the council would appreciate me taking to it with a sledgehammer either.

Just thought id throw in a couple of pics of the rims before and after...took ages to sand them back and prep them properly but am happy with the result

verry nice, best looking sv6 ute ive seen by far. I'd love a set of GTS 20s painted like them for my ve sv6, are the genuine GTS's or replicas? just wondering because the wheel nuts look different. Also, 2 shades darker than legal window tint would set it real nice.

Yeah they are genuines from a mates maloo.....yep with chrome wheel nut covers.

Starting to think the ute needs some more mods haha, going to order a bee sting aerial and then will possibly look at cold air induction and new exhaust once I find something out there that sounds decent. Just wish she was tunable to go with a CAI...ahh well

I bought it with those deals in december last year, $30 990 drive away. Then I got the hardcover, alloy pedals and tinting which added a few more grand on top. The wheels I got from a mates Maloo, sold em to me for $2000 with the front rubber included, just had to get rubber for the rears. And to get them in satin black did them myself for under $100 The springs got done @ dobinsons rockhampton I think it was around $700 superlows all round.....so yeah less than $40 000 as it is at the moment anyway.

Yeah if I had the same taste as you, I probably would have, fortunately owning a vehicle is about individuality, what appeals to one wont appeal to all. Also, if I didn't want them to stand out, I would've left on the stockies!

Thanks guys! Have gotten a Bee-sting aerial for it, will take some pics when I get home later in the week, something pretty small makes a huge difference.

What K/W do these push out stock? 195?

Yeah mate they are 195 stock. Have made a few more little changes to the ute over the past 6 or so months, Airhammer CAI has been installed, have de-badged the rear of the car and also threw on a bee sting aerial.







So the current mods list so far is:
Alloy pedals
Lowered suspension
Airhammer CAI
20inch wheels
De-badged Rear
Bee-sting aerial, window tinting, hard lid.

Mods to come:
Am waiting on a set of custom mufflers from CHE, quad tips and should add a sportier note less the drone, custom front grill just plain honeycombe, still deciding whether to get a front lip spoiler and paint it red, might have to get a photoshop done before i decide whether to or not.
