ONLY interested in VY SS v8 6spd with leather for swaps
I purchased the car from Metro Holden and was convinced (conned) into getting the full interior and exterior protection pack, at least they gave me free window tinting! It's got a full service history and I have only had it serviced at Metro. I also got the extended warranty but I need to check whether that's transferrable to another buyer (there's over 2 years remaining).
The car is an awesome cruiser and has plenty of power in reserve for safe overtaking. It has been tuned by Martin at Willall Racing and the dyno sheets say it puts out about 141rwkw (I suspect it could be a bit higher now with the manifold insulators and new spark plugs).
I installed a pair of Mace manifold insulators recently and they have dropped the engine bay temps quite significantly. It also has a 2.5" twin cat-back exhaust with a superb, and not-too-loud sound. I have also done a cold air mod similar to the 2-hole mod, which increases the airflow to the engine.
I had the shocks replaced about 3 weeks ago with Boge lowered shocks and a fresh set of FE2 springs as the original equipment was well past its best.
I have just fitted a new set of wheels with a similar (but better) pattern to the Speedy Cheetah's fitted with high quality lock nuts. If the buyer doesn't want them, I may be willing to do some sort of a deal.
It has a "phreddy'd" stereo in it so it now has the RCA's. Unfortunately, the remote wire doesn't work properly and phreddy's been too busy/uncontactable to fix it, so for now the trigger is powered from the ciggy lighter. I will do my best to resolve that problem before it is sold. The stereo consists of a 5 channel amp running 2 pairs of high-end Response splits and the stock 8" subs but a 12" response sub in a box could be included if requested. The sound quality is superb and it takes up very little room.
