EXTERIOR CONDITION: Good – A few “parking marks” on bumpers

INTERIOR CONDITION: Good: a tear in driver’s seat leather trim; headlining is sagging, as they do. Some minor staining on right rear seat (haven’t tried removing it), but otherwise the car is very clean and tidy.

TYRE CONDITION: Front (April 2010) 99.9% Rear (May 2009) 95%

This is an unmolested “factory issue” Calais. First 110,000 kms in rural Queensland, so mainly long distance driving, and with regular servicing by Julia Creek Motors as per Holden service schedule. In storage in NSW for about 5 years, then ownership changed and driven around Sydney/Central Coast/Blue Mountains. Only two owners since new, both in the same family.

Recently we had an issue with a spark plug fouling in #6, and thought is was valve stem oil seals. However, this appears to have been fixed simply by replacing the oxygen sensor – engine was running very rich and fuel consumption was high.

Only known issue: steering rack is a bit tired. Car drives just fine, and it’s not a Pink Slip issue, but returning from hard lock there is a “clunk” due to wear.

Only known accident damage: parking bingle, right rear corner.

Not badged as a Series II but it has some Series II features: speed alert chime and low fuel warning light and chime.

Stereo is original factory AM/FM/Cassette with CD/AUX/MP3 input.
