OTHER INFO: Previous owner was a young 50 year old bloke who was going to put this vehicle on a race track of all things. As this was his plan he upgraded the suspension making the car stick to the road like flys to shite. Rear rotors were thrown away & replaced with slotted rotors making it able to stop in a big hurry when you want to. Gearbox was serviced at this point in time. The engine had a mild cam put into it(unknown grind as he couldnt remember),throttle body was thrown away & a larger throttle body installed. An hsv air pipe & air box assembly was then fitted with a k & n filter. Extractors were put on with a 2 1/2" exhaust system. Heat resistant fibreglass engine covers were fitted. The engine on this vehicle was supposed to have been rebuilt under warranty by holden at 100000km just in case due to some early versions being prone to piston slap,which happened mainly on the series one versions of this vehicle,not the series 2. I have tried to verify this but havent been able to as yet. The owner was in his 50's so i tend to believe him on this. At idle this thing sounds tame & almost like a nicely worked V6,until you take off at the lights. To much gas & this thing will start to wheelspin & go sideways,if you go to overtake someone again,to much of a bootfull & this thing will wheelspin. In saying that i am not some young hoon & have loved this car to bits & never treated her badly.It has a factory fitted LSD,which is very handy to have,more traction & more control. Theres probably heaps i have forgotten but at the end of the day i have never regretted buying this vehicle & i know the new owner will feel exactly the same.
I have too many cars so no swaps!!

vauation for a standard vehice of this model & type with higher km is over $7000.

Why buy an ss that probably been thrashed by a young person when you can get exactly the same but better in this car. The difference between this car & an ss is just a few badges as well as twice the insurance cost for an ss.
Last full insurance i got was $500-full insurance for an ss is over $1000
Will put on vx ss 17" rims as in the ones on the sting red vx ss in the background of photos if buyer prefers those

got bored over the weekend & bolted on an LS6 manifold. much better flow than the standard LS1 manifold.
one exactly the same with no modifications & 195000km on the clock just sold on evilbay for $7500! so this is cheap.
will use less petrol to run around in than a v6 or 5.0 ltr version
bumpsky-get bored alot so the vehicle now has a twin 2 & a half inch exhaust system fitted.
give it a week or two & boredom may encourage me to bolt on a supercharger & get a mafless tune done
but if thats done there will be a BIG price increase-dont miss out,this car has some real balls & a possibilty to have even bigger balls yet
