With Much regret it is time to sell my VY II Acclaim. Now that my VP daily is ready the VY needs to go so that i can begin saving for my first v8.

The car was first purchased by a Council in Brisbane where it served daily duties until 2006 when it was bought by the second owner. I then purchased it a bit over a year ago from a Toyota Dealership here in Victoria.

Due to stone chips damaging the original front bumper, the decision was made to install a VY SS front end which included new Headlights, front bumper, grille and fog lights.

Full service history is provided since new and i have had the vehicle serviced every 7500 to 10000kms. The Transmission service was also completed approximately 12000kms ago. Since the car is due for a oil change, that will be completed before the sale.

The Car is mechanically stock apart from a Cold Air Intake and a 2.5" catback exhaust made and fitted by TME (Taylah Made Exhaust) in Melton. It is quiet at idle and only lets of a deeper note when accelerating.

Since i travel up to 200kms a day (sometimes more) of mainly freeway driving the car has delivered excellent fuel economy for its engine size. Over the last 20000kms the average fuel economy has hovered between 9.3 - 9.7L which i have been more than happy with.

The Car has been lowered slightly by using VY SS Spec FE2 springs in the front and King Springs Super Lows in the rear. This has altered the height slightly while still retaining a comfortable ride (although a tad firmer in the rear)

I had planned to install a full stereo system and had the car wired up for it, but never got around to it and therefore all wiring is intact and not stripped. The Front speakers have been replaced with 6.5" Sony Xplod units. Crossovers and tweeters are included but not currently installed.

The Car received a new battery less than a week ago and a Holden Factory Strut Brace was installed recently.
In order to complement the existing Satin Chrome Gear shifter and handbrake, 4 Brand new Factory Satin Chrome steering wheel spokes will also be included.
