    OTHER INFO:

Gday guys, This is a bit of an EOI, if I get the right amount of money, it will be sold.

Its a 1998 Holden VS Commodore UTE, fitted with a Garrett T04B Turbo and a C.O.M.E. 4.2L stroker kit powered by a Microtech LT10s Computer. Now the ute you see in the photos was actually a repairable write off (fresh water damage from QLD floods) I bought it with minimal Interior and a buggered motor with an auto gearbox, the body is good and thats all I wanted it for. I also bought another statutory write off VS ute with all the good bit like motor and running gear all working perfectly, but the body was an absolute mess, it has a decent impact on the passenger side and the front was abit bent up, so I made the ute you see here out of these two. It is fully RTA engineered and has Rego till July 2012. Im a fully qualified Heavy Vehicle and Plant mechanic by trade, so all the work Ive put into this thing is pretty smick It also has about 197xxxKMS on the body its self, much less on the motor though.

First Ill list all the dramas, Ill be as honest as I can.

    Passenger side manifold needs resealing.
    Has a green bonnet
Cold start tune is off (runs perfect when warm)
Radiator crossmember is a touch bent, someone at the mechanics workshop thought it was a jacking point (Idiots). Wont take much at all to get it straightened out.
Interior fan control module leaks (vacuum operated) easy fix from wreckers
Oil pressure gauge reads wrong (cheap Supercheap Auto shit)

I know it looks like a fair bit but a weekends work (with plenty of time for beers) and she will be all sweet.

Now Majority of the good bits, Im sure Ill miss something, so ill add to it as I remember more

Bosch 044 external fuel pump, with alloy 1.5L surge tank mounted next to fuel tank, all hidden away
    Stage 3 heads
    H-Beam conrods
genuine Garrett CHRA T04B turbo center, come with receipt (had some shit cheap Chinese branded one in their)
Just had a service, fully synthetic oils used all round (engine, gearbox, diff) and all filters changed
washer bottle relocated to the rear (see photos) to make way for a POD type filter
    Mace twin throttle bodies
3 inch mandrel bent Intercooler piping
Large front mount cooler, kinda hidden behind front bar.
3 inch Exhaust from turbo back, single muffler and a new high flow cat, sounds good not really loud.
Microtech LT10s aftermarket computer with hand controller and usb dongle.
    Nice and tight LSD diff
New Kenwood CD player, with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity
Lowered on pedders springs and shocks all round
    near new rear tyres
    new brakes all round
done a VY brake front upgrade, with VT master cylinder, new rotors. Pulls up quick
    Front sway bar fitted
    New BOV
    New plugs and Leads
    6 month old battery
    Oil overflow catch can setup
    David Craigs fan temp controller
    turbo beanie
exhaust all covered in engine bay by wrap and covers
engine has all the right bolt-ons for turbo setups like upgraded injectors, rising rate fuel regulators ect
Has a tow bar, never used it though.
Fully engineered buy RTA certified engineer.
Toyota Lexan seats, they look a little bogus but their so dam comfy.
Will put a smile on your face everytime you drive it

ITS DAMM QUICK. All motor work appears to be top notch, inspections are more than welcome. NO TEST PILOTS OR TYRE KICKERS.
any more questions, call me. Ben 0401909764. NO SWAPS UNLESS ITS FOR COLD HARD CASH

    $8500

considering you can buy a vu ss ute for around 10k i think that your price may be a bit high for most buyers.
