BASIC DESCRIPTION:
My V6 VP Calais Manual LPG
Have had her for about 3yrs now. Bought her at 198,000, now sits omn 280K. Converted to man almost immediately, converted to LPG about 40,000kms ago. Over the last year i've just done freeway driving, so the km's haven't been too hard.
current condition i'd say is average for a car of that age. Apart from small external damage (see below) i'll be honest, it has a few rattles on cold mornings and i have a feeling most of this is cosmetic, consoles and the like. (mechanic has never found any problems with gearbox, engine etc)
everything on the car works fine, the cruise, the trip computer, it is a genuine Calais.
As mentioned, converted to LPG due to my heavy driving schedule. It is bloody good too, i doubted LPG until i got it, now my next car will almost certainly be LPG too. since converting my fuel bills have halved, and i'm able to get 500km from a tank (420km if on the town). Power actually INCREASED as the converter had to tune the new ECU for LPG, and considering the mods (below) the air / fuel mixture changed, and the performance increased.
I'd recommend this car to someone as their first car, or to someone with a bog standard commodore who's after a bit more. alternatively, someone who wants a cheap run-around and a manual. I'm not going to lie and say it's in the best condition, but i will say that it has served me very well for the purpose, however very soon i will not be needing a car like this.

EXTERIOR CONDITION: Hmmm... average. Has small dent on left and right guards. I don't hit people, they hit me. But due to insurance **** ups, it hasn't been fixed. i actually have a piece of paper from just cars telling me i can get it fixed, but that's really inconvenient. i'd rather have the dent at the moment lol.
INTERIOR CONDITION: Good. Non/smoker, keep it clean
TYRE CONDITION: Good. 3 new, 1 w/ about 20,000km
ODOMETER: 280,000, but last 100,000 have alll been highway (Campbelltown - North Sydney every day)
SERVICE HISTORY: Regular 10,000km service, i can find invoices if needed
