is this car is a v6 converted to a v8 manual??..
This is a mates car an if i had the money i would buy it but to answer your quesiton yes it was a v6 auto converted to 5L manual not long ago
thought so, i noticed it on the VIN number.. It is on ebay aswell?.. Goodluck with the sale..

Hi the odo reads 400xxx but because it has been converted its not correct. Not sure how many ks motor an box have done. Selling cause need a bigger car (8 seat 4x4 cruser ect...) it runs well though. Was RWC not long ago, has reg till about 3/2010 17" vtss rims, lowered, cai, sports exaust an real dark tint. Regret selling but need to. Just found paperwork for the motor is about 240xxx box about 100xxx everything on this car works as it should. Its a vn series V8 (suposably 215 kw)

VNs had 165kw my friend and if its got 400XXX then thats one tired body you got there...good luck with the sale

as I have said this is not my car stock VN calais are about $2500-$3000 so my mate askin $4500 for a car that has this much work done to it is not to bad
what amount of work? You haven't shown a list of modifications to indicate it's anything special it's just a 6 converted to an 8. I wouldn't pay that much for it and I'm in Perth, also the price they offer you for a trade in will be less then the 3000 you have been offered.. far less.
