g'day all, hope someone can help me. i just rebuilt the head on my vl and it runs great, but....... at about 1800rpm either accelerating or decelerating there is a rattle coming from the engine. it doest happen at any other time just then its got me stuffed! any ideas?
it was my dizzy, pretty sure missing the gasket caused a tiny gap between the cap and the dizzy itself and a vibration occured making the rattle. think the bearing on the dizzy is ****ed 2
yeah my old engine was doing that stayed like it 4 a month then coped a bit of a flogin and it got worse lol #2 bottem end bearing went lol
