Vl Not running past 2000 rpm HELP

Hi Guys, I am trying to get my Vl to run as it has been sitting for a long time with stale fuel in it, I can get it to start, and Idle althouhg roughly, but if you accellerate past 2000 rpm it stalls, I ahve cleaned out the fuel tank, put clean fuel in, replaced the hoses for the fuel reservoir, any uggestions as to what would be causing this to happen and how the hell am I going to rectify this problem?

Do a computer test first mate and see if theres any error codes.

blocked fuel filter. dirty injectors, loose battery terminal

100% Its The Air Flow Meter If its Stuffed The Car Will rev to 2000rpms Then Start Surging There Cheap on Ebay !

Check that the air flow meter is tight too.

had same problem with mine and was just a wire to the airflow not connecting so try wriggling the wires around yours first, saves buyin a new one if its that
