checked the computer for faults?
i got vl turbo and its cranking but not kicking over i recently changed the dizzy and coil to get spark but not happening what other reason y this would happen

go to the chapter problem diagnoses and follow it from there

so it does have spark?
sounds stupid but how much fuel has she got? iv had myne a few times get so low it refused to start again..
ya mite be better off just to get a new cas or one that wrecker nows it works and change it

just check and see if shes gettin good spark
cas sensor will generally stop firing all together..
with that much itd atleast fire so that rules out fuel..
give everything a good clean ad let it dry out properly then put it all bak on give that a go
ill give ya $500need to update to something newer
add an extra 0 to that and id think about it lol

have yiou got the dissy timming set correct?
by setting motor on tdc on compression stroke and rotarty arm too point 1
wheres a quick test, with your spare dissy plug it into the CAS plug and put the disy cap on with all the leads
turn the ignition on and turn the dissy by hand
this will cause the engine to spark at each plug depending where the rotary point is
will cause the injectors to pulse and the fuel pump to run
if you get no injector pulse park it means the CAS loom is not getting good signal to the computer hence no fire
try this first and work from there
just re read your post and def try the hand spining dissy
im thinking it could be the CAS plug/loom
normally these get brittle and corrode cause the car to die all sudden or start and stall
it the plug on top of the dissy, wiggle it while someone turns it over

have the dissy out of the engine but have the dissy cap on with the leads and the CAS and little earth cable plugged in
then by hand spin the splinned end of the shaft
my replys wont be quick as im watching top gear atm but ill try help you during the adds

wiggling the cas cable will see if the termals are connecting properly and allowing the car to fire
happened to me before in one of my old vls, died randomly and wiggled the loom and it ran till i hit another bump and it cut out
simplely i cut in another newer plug
if these dont connect well you will not get a good if any spark or injector pulse

change the dissy model, most of the time its that
also if CAS and AFM are fine could be possibly the Power transistor(Black Bit with T plug on dizzy) this works to switch the coil to produce spark.
i would lean towards CAS.
i had a problem a while back check my thread (vl not starting tried the obvious)
i came across it was the power diode in the loom near battery was corroded out and was turning off my injectors.(diode there for reverse polarity protection)
i have left it out and had no probs. as soon as i connect the wire where it was it shuts of injectors and stalls.
As for CAS plug pull back the rubber boot and check where the wires are crimped on to spade connectors. can corrode in there.
Do same with AFM plug spray both with Inox/wd40/rp7 etc
also what previous posts have stated check your timing
