vl power button problems please help!!!

just wondering if any one could help me my car wont rev over 2000rpm and my pwr button wont work but then in the mornings it all works fine wen the cars cold..and it only revs over 2000rpm in park or nutrul

check the airflow meter plug

thast pwr/economy feature wont allow the auto trans to go into 4th until everything has warmed up

I had this problem where the car wouldn't rev past 2000rpm while driving, but stationery would rev no problems, I found if you turn the key to acc and wait for the pump to prime (7secs) then start the engine then drive no worries, if you just turn the key and start straight away problem.
I have been told,
1. pumps on it's way out
2. cas is stuffing up
3. afm is on it's way out
for 4 yrs I never changed any of them and they never stuffed up? I sold the car to a mate with the problem and it's still going just the same.
this has been covered several times here and if anyone has solved it they have not comeback and posted the solution.
a few months back another member was working on the throttle position sensor, but again never posted the outcome?

yeah im thinking throttle position sensor because tryed a new air flow meter and that didnt work havnt tryed a new sensor yet because only got one at home for a manual and dont wanna go buy one if that aint the problem...could it have anythink to do with my auto??
