well got all the timing belt off because my cam timing is off
now im confusing myself and my gregorys is just contradicting itself on the two pages
so thoughts?
i have the crank mark set even on the marking for the oil pump housing
the cams dowel mark is not vertical like it says it should be, it a little clockwise (too the right)
new belt has marks on it for the 53 grooves
had my mum also double check the amount aswel as me 3 times
counting the first groove (one with the mark) as zero till the next mark (including the marked one) it is 53 grooves
just how it should be
but this is where i get confused
i put the belt on with the belt marks and cam/crank marks lined up
fits perfect, cant get it more tighter
but the cam is still off, not vertical
if i was to make the cam vertical i would be at 54 grooves which is wrong
should i just make it 54 grooves in the belt so that the cam will be vertical?????
need opinion asap, with in a hour or soo as im heading out for rest of the weekend
cheers

Have you tried a different coil lead, pull number one lead of and have a screwdriver in it and start and it will run on 5 cylinders, when you are cranking make sure u have constant blue spark and keep watching till it stalls if it has something to do with spark it will die in and out,
does it idle fine but when you try and rev it, it dies or doesnt it idle, check the plug on afm because if it idles ok and you cant rev it thats your afm, give that a shot and let me know
