problem, not clue wat it is!!

i got a VL and under full acceleration, half, 1/4 etc etc, doesn't matter how hard u accelerate, it doesnt accelerate prettty much at all, the idle is very bouncy, like the tacho literally jumps up and down from 800-1000rpm and it struggles to even stay on at all, by that i mean it almost stalls constantly, when u accelarate the car shakes like a mother f****r. wat could the problem be? not game to drive the car to the mechanic as its defected, and i got very bad luck of being pulled over in the past. any help very appreciated

Could it be fuel or the fuel pump. If the fuel pump is playing up you might not be getting enough and it might be stalling. Also what type of fuel do you use?

just normal unleaded would be in it at the moment, i think it is the fuel pump cause its similar to wat happened on my r33, but i dont understand why the car shakes like mad

I heard some people were having problems with some fuel where the ethanol additive clogs up the fuel pump and it starts to play up, and sometimes if you tap on the fuel tank it goes well again. Maybe you just got some bad fuel from a petrol station who might have been adding something in it they shouldn't have. Don't know if that's what is happening to you.

nah it just wont idle at one constant rpm it just flickers, and when u accelerate, u can feel like a grinding sort thing from under the car, and it shakes like mad

well its all fixed... new set of spark plugs, leads, fuel cleaner and engine cleaner, and a bit of thrashing around the block... massive bang and a puff of smoke and then its all gone away now lol
