Sikaflex or gold flex to stick 'em on (I think that's what you're asking)..
I use clear coat on mine but a few others might have better ways of protecting them, having said that they haven't chipped or flaked yet and it's been around 6 months since they went on.

    Time will tell I guess.

U talking bout SL,Berlina badges etc? I restored a completely faded berlina badge . All i did was gave it a good scrub with a tooth bush and soap. Sprayed it using gloss black. Gave it a few coats. Then I got a silver paint pen and did the writing. Then gave it 2 coats of clear gloss. came out mint

don't use that double sided tape cr*p, what ever you do.
ask your local panel shop, they're usually keen to show off one of their latest projects and you can usually pick up some excellent tips from them..

    i beg to differ
3M double sided tape is what i would / have used
use it at work and no probs what so ever, just make sure the panel is clean and dry
the badge is dirt free, dust free, no oil or grease no oil tape on it or very little

    little tip......
run thinners on the area where about to put tape on (badge)
will melt the old tape glue and cause it to bond better

I haven't tried the 3M stuff, just the grey stuff with the red layers you get from auto paint shops.
It does not hold. It does not stay. And the freshly sprayed mould I had just stuck on came off and cracked when I shut the door, not happy..

When I told the boys at my local panel shop they laughed anf got me onto the gold flex. Haven't looked back.

I used the double sided 3m tape from bunnings. Its the weatherproof one. Badge is secure and been on for a couple months.

a door mould is urethaned on with the aid of double sided tape to hold it while setting
relying on just the tape to hold wont work for commodores

we use the red backing one,
with the goldflex stuff be careful, if its a polyurethane type glue then once its set its set for good

3m tape will deff be enough for a badge,
only one fault with your badge, you have a huge gap to the edge.......think something is missing
