Berlina dash cluster into Executive?

I just got myself an 87 VL executive project and want to know if a tacho cluster from a Berlina/Calais will connect straight up in a VL executive dash (without tacho)

yes plug it in bud not a worry one big connector on back of cluster and connect the speedo cable.
easy only 4 bolts holding it in. i done it b4. tacho runs of the coil which would be there already for other models.

i have done the same thing to my sl recently and it isnt hard just make sure your carefull taking the dash off to get to he cluster but mine had a speedo and clock and my new one has the digital clock and tacho and i havent had any problems

you will need a new oil pressure sender unit tho ur old dash will be a oil light where the tacho dash is a gauge

Yours was broken then, mine went in and all gauges/lights worked perfectly.

the oil pressure sensor needs 2 be changed or your oil pressure will read off the gauge dosent mean its working it means its getting the incorrect signal
