vl commodore missing under acceleration sometimes

Car was running fine , starts and idles fine but now and then misses when under accelation. Have changed leads but no difference. Can you help

spark plugs? ignition coil, fuel blockage change your fuel filter.
oh yeah rev limiter is set at about 5500rpm. reach that under acceleration and she'll really miss.

Its could be your TPS (Throttle postion sensor) my VL was dong the same thing and i found out that it was loose

and it aint like a miss, more resembles hitting a wall

AFM or CAS on its way out... possibly

Thanks rb (goon) I have looked at those things ,changed distributor with new cas , replaced tps on engine, borrowed air flow metre off other vl but no difference ,replaced fuel pump and filter on outside of tank , new leads and plugs still haven't solved the problem

Could be coil causing dramas man
Vacuum leaks in intake piping and all vac lines.
what about the intank inertia pump. i know the hose gets brittle and causes leaks and have a look at the filter on this pump as well

umm changed everything but the coil in the last 15mths, could be the transistor on the side of the dizzy too! GOOD LUCK with that.

Thank you to all who helped with my problem. The coil was the problem but only when under load we tested this by putting the car on a hoist and running her to 40kph while off the ground and with no load she was fine. Put her on the street and the surging was there. Thanks again brother inlaw and me very happy.!!!!
