Anybody got an easy method of getting the window winder handles off?

there is a clip behind the winder it looks like a horseshoe shape and usually has the opening . Get the correct tool or just get a strip rag material and get it between the winder and the plastic washer, then use a swing motion, one of the point will grab it and take it out. When you do just watch as they can shoot out past and they are hard to find on the floor. Once you get the idea its easy as.

I thought window winders just pull straight off?

Use the rag method. Its safer than the proper tool leaving no damage at all.

Hey i tried this on my VT 1997 S Pack, But it has no circlip, how else can they come off?

I tried pulling it even , but was not too keen!

here what i use 20c coin slip it up on one side it will pop off..

i just use a small flat head screwdriver and push one side of the clip. easy and fast for all 4 doors

I found best way is with a flat head screw driver and just push clip up n out
